 Rollinsford, NH. VXI Corporation has
announced their new Passport-DC direct connect headset for use with Nortel phone
systems.
Passport-DC headsets are specifically engineered
for optimal performance on Northern Telecom's Meridian, Norstar and IP phone sets
that have a headset port. To take it a step further, VXI is offering call center
managers the choice of which disconnect style they prefer, whether VXI, Plantronics
or GN Netcom compatible, allowing for seamless integration into call centers
that use multiple brands of equipment said Tim McCarthy, Product Manager of
Professional Products for VXI Corporation.
Passport-DC headsets
feature a high quality noise-canceling microphone to block the sound of surrounding
agents providing a more professional sounding call. Comfort is superior with concave
ear cushions that gently cup the ear for a cozy fit and improved sound.
The highly flexible, "gooseneck" microphone boom adjusts easily for exact positioning
and stays in place for consistent voice input. Passport headsets
use the same impact-resistant plastic used in sports equipment to withstand the high
intensity of the 24/7 center. Durable construction means fewer repairs and less
hassles. All this is backed by VXI's unconditional two-year warranty.
The Passport-P model is compatible with Plantronics quick
disconnects. The Passport-G features a GN Netcom compatible connection. The Passport-V
features a VXI compatible connection. The Passport family also includes the Everon
amplifier, compatible with VXI, GN Netcom or Plantronics headsets.
