July 30, 2008The Board of Directors of VXI Corporation, a leading manufacturer
of professional headsets, today announced the retirement of Richard "Dick"Hale after ten years as
President and CEO. Mr. Hale was appointed as President and CEO of VXI Corporation in 1998 and
successfully grew VXI into a major player in the commercial and consumer headset markets,breaking
ground for the company in both new technologies and in new markets. "Dick Hale has been
instrumental in bringing VXI to a place that leaves it well positioned in the marketplace. I want to
thank Dick for his outstanding service and congratulate him on a long and distinguished career", said
Dodge Morgan, Chairman of VXI Corporation.
VXICorporation also announced the
appointment of Michael W. Ferguson tothe position of President and CEO succeeding Mr. Hale,
effective immediately. Mr. Ferguson comes to VXI with over 30 years of professional management
experience, including 12 years of headset industry experience, which makes him well suited to
continue VXI's success in the telecommunications marketplace. Previously, Mr. Ferguson
was the Sr. Vice President of Sales of Portable Sound Labs, a consumer audio electronics company,
where he established a retail channel for the firm. Prior to that, Mr. Ferguson held various
senior positions, including Vice President of Sales and Marketing, at GN Netcom, Inc., where he
actively contributed to the company's growth. Mr. Ferguson attended Suffolk University and
is currently a candidate for a Masters of Management from Cambridge College.
